Brief
To transform the lounge beginning with new and more substantial, luxurious sofas. More seating is required for entertaining and the layout should be thought out carefully. There should be a large footstool or coffee table incorporated with the seating. The lounge should follow a neutral colour scheme but can have hints of colour. The atmosphere portrayed in here should be cosy and relaxing. Some existing accessories can stay but new ones will be welcomed, shelving is desired somewhere in the lounge to display these. There is a stone fireplace in here to work around which creates a focal point. The wall lights should also be changed to something new. Anthology wallpapers are a firm favourite, and textured finishes are preferred.

The living room interior has been transformed in this design with new, luxurious and substantial sofas and armchairs which make the most of this huge space adding lots more seating than there was previously. A cosy atmosphere has been created through layers of textures, fur throws and cushions. Curtains and a huge rug will make this room feel really warm, homely and inviting. The colour scheme has been kept mainly neutral with an anthropology ‘mink’ coloured wallpaper and Farrow & Ball ‘Light Gray’ paint, yet accents of blue create a contemporary twist. Matching gold chrome console tables either side of the fireplace (wall mounting the TV should make room for this) and a shelving unit on the opposite wall create loads of space to be dressed in accessories and photographs. Coffee tables and stools also tie in with this luxury gold chrome theme. The wall lights either side of the fire have been changed to delicate brass wall scones, and a brass, rectangular wall light will be on the opposite wall to highlight the shelving. The ceiling light creates a statement with four different glass domes highlighting the central, luxury footstools.

Client Feedback
“Katie helped me with the interior design of my living room. She was fantastic to work with and really took on board the style I wanted to achieve. Once we had our first meeting, she followed it up with a very detailed design and it was clear I had enlisted a professional who knew her stuff. She was able to work within my budget and choose some fantastic pieces of furniture I would never have envisaged myself. She listed each item separately with prices, photos, delivery times and also links to where I could purchase them. She also gave me alternative options too. There was regular feedback and communication through email. If I changed an item, she would resend the design/visuals with those items in place. The final design was lovely and cannot wait to get started once COVID-19 allows. I would definitely recommend Katie at Innermost Interiors and will certainly be using her again in the future.“
